Q: What is the flipped classroom model?

Flipped Classroom
Created by Knewton and Column Five Media

Q: What if I don't have access to the internet/computer at home?

A: If you have a computer but not reliable internet bring me a thumb drive and I will upload the videos for you to use on your own computer, no internet needed.
A: If you don't have a computer please find time to come in and use the computers and IPads I have available in the classroom, or use the after school program the CLC, or even the local public library are all great options.
A: sometimes in class we might have a day set up where, if the video was vitally important to proceed with that class activity, you will be able to watch the previous night's homework in class. BUT BRING HEADPHONES!

Q: What if I don't have headphones?

A: Mrs. Carter buys some at the dollar store you can purchase them from me for $1, but be warned they obviously aren't the best quality!

Q: How do I access the homework?

A: I will do many things to get you to the night's homework! I will tweet a link, I will post on edmodo, you can follow my youtube channel, you can also do a search on sophia.org where the tutorials & playlists are made, and you can also check right here on the website. Since we will be changing the format slightly after we come back to break I really need you to do the digital WSQ portion of the homework through sophia.org so make it a point to get to that part please!
